| Charge sheet presented against sales tax inspector | | | Early Times Reporter

Crime Branch Kashmir today booked one Manzoor Ahmed Sheikh S/o Ghulam Hassan r/o Gokhana Kunzer Tangmarg for his selection as Sales Tax Inspector through SSRB under RBA Category on a complaint that he does not belong to a backward area.
Crime Branch received complaint regarding this and during investigation it was revealed that the accused was fraudulently selected as Sales Tax Inspector under RBA category. The accused had managed to join the service and was regularly drawn salary for a period of around for years causing the loss of Rs 3, 86,023 to the state exchequer. Accordingly Charge sheet was presented accused before city Munsiff, Srinagar today. |
