Army troops busted a militant hideout and recovered a rifle with ammunition near forest area in Rajouri district of the state, sources said here on Wednesday.
The troops came across the hideout during a search operation near a forest in Saddah area of Kalakote tehsil last evening, defence sources said.
One 303 rifle with one magazine and 20 rounds was recovered from the abandoned hideout, sources said, adding that the arms must have been stolen by the militants and left there before fleeing. Search operation in the area was continuing, they added. |
