| PNB launches farmers club | | | Early Times Reporter

The Punjab National Bank (PNB) launched NABARD sponsored Suchet Garh farmers club in R.S Pura here today. The function was attended by about 150 farmers of the area who evinced keen interest in various loan schemes of the bank as also in the new PNB Ghar Ghar functions. Speaking on the occasion chief manager S.L Gupta informed that the bank has literally waged a war on poverty clusters in the state by undertaking to conduct financial inclusion of fifty thousand families during current calendar year. He also informed that the farmer club shall act as a link between bank and farmers with sole aim of speeding up credit flow to the villagers for taking up all productive ventures. He appealed the villagers to come to bank and avail benefits designed specially for rural poor in the country. Among others who spoke during the function Gurmeet Kour, Janak Raj, Kuldeep Singh, O P Sharma, K.L Dogra, A.K Mota, R.K Gupta, Satish Sahni and Rohit Rana. |
