The annual general meeting of J&K Institute of Public Opinion was held under the chairmanship of Ram Sahai today. All the chartered members and the members of the general body participated. In the meet the secretary general of the institute Satti Sahni presented the report of the interim period and impressed upon the need to gear up the activities of the institute to make it fully vibrant and active so that the institute could justify its name of being the mouth peace of the public for projecting their opinion on different issues. It was also unanimously resolved during the meet to conduct a fresh election for the chairman and the members of the executive committee. While Rajendra motial was unanimously nominated to be the election incharge for conducting the elections and Ram Shahai was unanimously elected as chairman of the institute. |
