| Lt. Gen Bhardwaj given warm send off | | | Early Times Reporter

Lt Gen P C Bhardwaj, GoC 14th Corps, on his transfer from Leh, was accorded a warm farewell here today.
Addressing the function CEC LAHDC Chhering Dorje congratulated the outgoing Lt. General on his elevation as GoC-in-C Northern Command.
Highlighting the traditional Civil-Army cordial relations in Ladakh, Dorje said that it has further strengthened during the brief tenure of Lt. Gen Bhardwaj, who keenly carried out the Sadbhavana program in the desert region fulfilling the aspirations of targeted people by undertaking major projects like bridges and hostel buildings for physically challenged children.
The Executive Councilors Norboo Lampa, Dorje Mutup, Mohammed Khan and Additional Deputy Commissioner Sonam Gyalson and other top ranking army officers and councilors also attended the farewell party. |
