| JKFA to hold State Football Championship in March | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 27 The Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) is going to organize 20th edition of the State Football Championship at Mini-Stadium, Parade, here in first week of March. In all, 30 teams are taking part in the 10-day long mega event to be held on knock-out basis among teams from different districts, clubs and departments. “Earlier, the Central Executive Committee of the Association in its meeting held on December 14 at Jammu had scheduled to be hold the state championship from January 10 but due to certain reasons it was postponed for first week of March,” general secretary of JKFA, Bashir Malik told ET. The Jammu wing has been assigned the job by the Association to conduct state’s top competition. However, the final date for the state championship will be finalized by the organizing committee shortly. |
