Semifinals position has been cleared in boys section in the State Ball Badminton Championship underway at Green Field ground, here today under the banner of J&K Ball Badminton Association.
Teams reaching the last four stages are Jammu, Anantnag, Pulwama and Srinagar. Now, in the semi-finals, to be played tomorrow, Jammu shall take on Anantnag while Srinagar shall be fighting against Pulwama.
Earlier, in the quarterfinals, Jammu defeated Baramulla while Pulwama trounced district Rajouri.
Meanwhile, in girls section, district Srinagar shall take on district Baramulla in the title clash tomorrow.
The championship is being organized under the supervision of Ball Badminton Instructor of the J&K State Sports Council, Riyaz Ahmed Khan. |
