| 4-wkt win for J&K Police Twenty-20 Cricket | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 27 Sailing on a superb bowling spell by Sanjay Kotwal, Jammu and Kashmir Police today outplayed Bajaj Allianz XI by four wickets to consolidate their position in the ongoing 2nd Anandrathi Corporate Twenty-20 Cricket Tournament at University of Jammu ground, here today. Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, Bajaj Allianz bowled out for 93 runs in 17.3 over. In reply, J&K Police XI chased the total in 17.3 over making 95 runs. Sandeep was top scorer from Bajaj Alliaz with 27 runs while Bhupinder contributed 19 and Sumit 12. From J&K Police XI, Sanjay Kotwal was most successful bowler with three wickets while Shashi took two. Sunil and Shakti shared a piece each. Batting second, J&K Police surpassed the Bajaj Allianz total making 95 runs in 17.1 over for the loss of six wickets. Riaz remained top scorer with 26, followed by Shashi and Rajesh Gill, who contributed 22 and 12 runs respectively. Sandeep and Anil shared two wickets each from Bajaj Allianz. Sanjay Kotwal adjudged man of the match for his three wickets haul. |
