Chenab College of Education celebrated Science Day by organizing impressive function at the college premises. The function was presided over by chairman of the college, RS Chib.
While addressing the students, Chib said that world Science day for Peace and Development provides an opportunity to scientific organizations, scientists, Government and civil society to join together in reaffirming in the words of the Un Charter-the crucial contribution of science to the promotion of social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom, including freedom from the scourge of war and conflict.
Teachers and students also spoke on the importance of science in the modern times and benefits it will accrue for the future generation of the mankind. |
