| RCA unveils Cricket Calendar for 2006 - 07 | | Maps out an exciting row of national and state level tournaments | |
26th August 2006 Jaipur: Cricket fever is in the air again, as Rajasthan
Cricket Association today announces its calendar of events for 2006 - 07 in
Sawai Man Singh Stadium Jaipur. Mr. Lalit Modi, President, RCA unveiled the
calendar, that promises a great year of cricket ahead - comprising of some
thrilling events and tournaments lined up for the forthcoming year.
Launching the RCA calendar, Mr. Lalit Modi said, "The calendar highlights
Rajasthan Cricket Association's first phase of tournaments and events for
2006 - 07. Charting out our activities, this calendar will further enable us
to streamline events in the year, and improve our internal allocation of
resources as well as the overall efficiency in executing activities".
The calendar has schedule of activities listed out for all the age groups
like the Senior Group, Under 22, Under 19, Under 17 and Under 15. Within
each group it lists down the National Tournaments and the state level
tournaments that will be played in the coming year. The calendar also has
information on the venue of the matches and the format of the tournaments.
This exciting addition to the Rajasthan Cricket Association initiatives
would be a catch for cricket enthusiasts in the state. Present at the
unveiling, Mr. Gajraj Singh Rathaur, CEO, RCA added, "As the calendar
suggests the coming year will be very eventful for RCA. The calendar would
also be a source of information for all sports enthusiasts as they will know
much in advance about the cricketing activities in their state for the
coming year".
