| Red Cross to offer CT scan facility | | | Early Times Reporter

Red Cross Society Jammu region has come out with a special arrangement for underprivileged and poor patients who need to undergo CT Scan or MRI test. This support of concessional rates for the said test have come from Mediscan Diagnostic Centre, Trikuta Scan and ASCOMs Jammu on the initiate taken by Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society Jammu Region Mr Anil K Padha who disclosed that CT Scan and MRI test for the deserving patients shall now be considered at lower rates than the prevailing market rates and even at part with the government rates in some special cases.
Needy people/patients can approach the Red Cross Society, Regional Office Kachi Chawani Jammu for this facility, where a free dispensary is already running alongwith Family Welfare Project sponsored by the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Jammu. Free Eye Clinic with a specialist doctor is also posted here at Red Cross Bhawan besides a Diagnostic Laboratory for conducting the Pathological tests at half rates from the market price in also available.
This complex also houses a project called CHILDLINE being supervised by district branch of Red Cross Jammu where by calling 1098 one can lodge a complaint of crime against children and one can get immediate help.
Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society Jammu Region appeals the life members of Red Cross to extend their voluntary support for such noble causes for the benefit of mankind and get in touch with their respective district branches of Red Cross located at Deputy Commissioner's office to strengthen the voluntary movement of Red Cross. |
