State Unit of Rashtriya Janta Dal seems to be in shambles as it has virtually been divided into two groups. The recent example of the division is when the two different groups, one which claims to be real Rashtriya Janta Dal headed by Ghulam Nabi Shah (Forah), holds a meeting at Railway station where he hailed the historic budget for the year 2008-2009 presented by the RJD supremo and union minister for railways, Lalu Prasad Yadav. Forah, while addressing the meeting said that Lalu Prasad Yadav has proved the best railway minister since freedom because he always presented people friendly bueget and welcomed the railway minister for introducing 53 new trains, 10 Garib raths and reserving 5 percent posts in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) for women.
On the other hand, another state unit of Rashtriya Janta Dal headed by Ghulam Mustafa Malik, held a press conference at press club, where he said that party has decided to participate in the forthcoming assembly elections in all the constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir and added that in this regard, Rashtriya Janta Dal will start campaigning from tomorrow. As per press release Malik said, that he has been unanimously elected as state president of Rashtriya Janta Dal in the elections, in which all the elected presidents of all the districts of the state participated.
Malik claimed to be real state president and said others who pose as state president of RJD is fraud and lier.
When asked who heads the state unit of RJD, Forah said that the one which is headed by him is the real RJD and others are just making people fool.
When both Malik and Forah claim to head the state RJD, it is imperative to know from RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav who is the real head?
