| JIAR toppers bag Jivaka, Ayurvisharad Awards | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 1 Two toppers of the Final Prof of Jammu Institute of Ayurveda & Research (JIAR) Dr.Maninder Kour and Dr.Vijayta Sharma, have bagged prestigious awards of Jivaka & Ayurvisharad carrying a certificate and cash Awards of Rs.10,0001- & Rs7500 respectively. The awards were given to the two toppers of JIAR by the Himalya Drug Company the prominent Ayurvedic medicine company of the country at a function held in the premises of the JIAR here today. The Himalya Drug Company was represented by it Manager, CME services. Pharmaceutical Division. Dr Utpala Singh and assisted by the local representatives of the company. The company also Organised a CME for the BAMS students of the institute and gave a detailed view of the various drugs and latest treatment of the diseases through the Ayurvedic medicines manufactured by the company. Dr.Utpala Singh who is in-charge of the North India and a part of the Western India for the company said that their company has been organising such CME Programmes for the Ayurvedic students for premier colleges of the country adding the company will be Organising many more programmes for the students in future. Speaking on the occasion the Chairman of the JIAR Dr Roop Lal Sharma thanked the Himalya Drug Company for felicitating the students of the JIAR and Organising CME Programme for the students. Dr.Sharma said that such programmes would go a long way in preparing the students for their future Jobs as Ayurvedic Doctors and the knowledge of medicines will be handy for the treatment. Dr.Roop Lal Sharma also requested the company officials to assist the JIAR In the regular medical camps that the Institute has been organising for the last many year every Saturday for the benefit of the poor people. He informed then that the Institute has been organising such free medical camps for the surrounding villagers since its inception adding hundreds of such camps have benefited thousands for the local villagers who are provided with free medicines and treatments. The Company officials assured their full cooperation and thanked the JIAR for encouraging theCompany in its endeavour to educate the budding doctors. |
