Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has nominated Abdul Rehman Ganaie as the party's Zonal President for Devsar constituency in district Anantnag.
In a statement issued here today, PDP district President for Anantnag Mohammad Sartaj Madni also announced party's Advisory Committee for the Devsar constituency. Comprising eight members, the Advisory Committee would function as an apex decision-making body for the Devsar constituency's political and developmental issues.
The members of the Advisory Committee are Mohammad Maqbool Magray of Qasba Devsar, Abdul Salam Wani of Panzeith, Gull Mohammad Bhat of Y K Pora, Ghulam Mohammad Dar of Ganjipora, Habibullah of Mandhole, Ghulam Mohamad Bhat of Zangalpora, Abdul Majid Tantray of Bona Devsar and Mohammad Shaban Parray of Chowgam.
The Advisory Committee members led by Madni called on the PDP President Ms Mehbooba Mufti here today to deliberate on the issues of the Devsar constituency. They reiterated their trust and resolve in the leadership of Madni, who, they said has worked tirelessly for the development of the area. They said the massive development that has taken place in the area during the past five years is because of the efforts of Madni.
