Two militants, including one belonging to the Al-Badr outfit, were killed in an encounter with the security forces in Budgam district on Sunday, official sources said.
The firefight ensued as security forces and Jammu and Kashmir police cordoned Chewdara this morning, the sources said.
One of the slain militants has been identified as district commander of the Al-Badr outfit Nizamullah, they said.
