JAMMU, Aug 8: Investiture Ceremony of the Students Council for the year 2018-19 of Spring Dales English School Changran, Kathua was organised. Kiran Arvind, Principal, Army Public School, Mamoon Cantt. was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Kiran Arvind, Prof. R.K. Gupta (Director) and Usha Gupta (Principal) lighted the ceremonial lamp and a Welcome Song was sung by the Choir. Head Boy Rohit Sharma, Head Girl Aayushi Sharma, Vice Head Boy Lovish Kumar, Vice Head Girl Kritika Rajput, Sports Captain Ansh Sharma along with House Captains and Vice House Captains of Maurya (Anjali Jasrotia and Sabia Sharma), Shaurya (Nandini Kundal and Adity Khurana), Surya House (Raj Nandani and Amitoj Kour), Kavya House (Sarthak Sangral and Annie) were conferred with sashes by the Chief Guest. Kiran congratulated the student council and encouraged them with her inspiring words.
The members of School Council pledged to abide by the rules and regulations of their alma mater and they promised to work in tandem for smooth functioning and efficacy. The flag, a symbolic representation of their determination to carry out the duties vested in them, was handed over to the new student representatives for the academic year 2018-19. The ceremony ended with Vote of Thanks and Vande Matram. |
