| 2 militants gunned down in Valley | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar | March 2 Police today claimed to have killed two Al-badar militants including one belonging to Pak Occupied Kashmir during a pre dawn operation at Chadwara area in Budgam. Official sources said that Budgam Police and troops of 34 RR carried out cordon and search operation of at Chadwara falling under the jurisdiction of Police station Beerwah during which militants fired upon the search party of Police. The fire was retaliated triggering off an encounter in which two militants, including one belonging to the Al-Badr outfit, were killed official sources told KMT. Giving details, sources said the militants hiding in the house of the widow of slain HM militant Rashid Bhat fired upon the search party . The slain militants were later identified as Janbaaz Khan, son of Ghulam Ahmed Khan, of Kotli Dak Mohalla, Pakistan occupied Kashmir and Imtiyaz Ahmed Dar, alias Janbaz son of Ghulam Ahmed Dar, of Cherpora Beerwah. Sources further revealed that Janbaaz Khan was an "A" category militant wanted by Police in number of violent activities while Imtiyaz was a "B" category militant.
