| PTU highlights salary issue of SPO/VDCs | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 8: Sewa Singh Bali State General Secretary Panthers Trade Union J&K today held a press conference at Jammu regarding the enhancement of salaries of the SPO/VDC's who are discharging their duties at high risk fight and SRO 43 be implemented at SPO's.
To fulfill the demand of the SPO/VDC's the Director, Finance Home Department has also issued a letter addressed to DGP vide No. Home/Acctt./38/2018 dated: 7.6.2018 for release of funds to distribution of salaries in favour of SPO/VDC's and also regularization thereof and also a letter from the office of Chief Secretary vide No. PS/CS-10/2018/251-C dated 16.05.2018 but it is strange to say that till date no action has been taken in this regard and the SPO/VDC's are suffering and even also a reminder has been sent by the Director Finance Home Department to the DGP J&K Srinagar vide his No. Home/Acctts/38/2018 dated 23.07.2018 but no all in vain with regard to the said burning problems of the SPO/VDC's for enhancement of their salary which is hanging from the long time. In this regard Sewa Singh Bali also met to his Governor of J&K State on 24th July, 2018 at Raj Bhawan, Srinagar. |
