| Rashid and Sanjeev makes place in the Olympic Qualifying C’ship | | |

International Fencers Rashid Ahmad and Sanjeev Suri has got selected for the Olympic Qualifying Championship and Asian Fencing Championship to be held at Bangkok in the moth of April.
It is for the first time any player from J&K is going for participating in Olympic Qualifying Championship. On winning this competition they will got to Bejing for the Olympics 2008.
As per the release issued the International Fencers Sanjeev Suri who is working in Commercial Taxes Department as D.E.O and Rashid Ahmed as S.I. in JKAP sated that They feel very proud to represent their State/department in an international tournament and assured that they will give their 100% to raise the country’s flag at Thailand.
President of the Fencing Association, MJ Sharma and Secretary Vijay Sharma lauded the fencers for their selection in the International Championship.
