| NMC seeks regularization of daily wagers | | | Early Times Reporter

The National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) has urged upon the union minister to introduce a bill in current budget session for declaring the Jammu, Srinagar cities as B-1 cities.
While addressing a workers meet, president, NMC said that in view of upgrading infrastructures and fast expanding cities. The grant of B-1 states to both cities is the need of the hour. He further urged the centre government to release as the D.A installments due from January this year as the employees are facing many hardships. While the conference had also urged daily wagers of various departments including rural development, sericulture, power department and others. Among others who participated during the meet were, Rajan Babu, Sunil Kochar, Sham Lal Sharma, Lalit Sharma and Geeta Devi.
