| NREGA funds are misused: CPI | | | Early Times Reporter

Misuse of funds under the National Rural Employment guarantee Act (NREGA) were discussed by the activists of communist party of India at a meeting held at village Kotli main Fateh today. Addressing the workers, CPI tehsil secretary Rakesh Sharma said that fultaq implementation of the scheme the people are facing lot of problems and as such defeating the very objective of this scheme. He also demanded procurement of wheat and rice through cooperative societies, which will benefit farmers, beside laid stress are strengthening of the Panchayat Raj system at grass root level in order to ensure speedy justice and development in rural sector.
