Jammu, August 26, : 'Main toh Jammu ki local hoon'With this one liner Sushmita Sen won many a young hearts while sharing her personal experiences with newsmen after returning from Mata Vaishno devi shrine enroute Jammu on Saturday.
"I am very thankful for all the love local residents have showered on me during my stay here in Jammu and along the yatra route.I feel as if i am one among you.From today onwards i can proudly say i am a localite here,Sushmita said surrounded by large number of fans at a private hotel.
Spritually inclined Sushmita also narrated her whole expereince of trekking 13 km yatra track on foot along with her adopted daughter Renee.
She said this was my second visit to Mata Vaishnodevi shrine. I am firm believer and was planning a thanks giving visit to Mata Vaisnodevi shrine for the last three months.She said she could not come earlier because she was badly injured and her backache was holding her plans of visiting Mata Vaishnodevi.Now i am perfectly alright due to blessings of Mata Vaishnodevi.
"Bulawa toh teen mahine se lagataar aa raha tha pur programme final nahin ho pata tha.Jaise hi saab final hua main mata ke darbar chali aaye,Sushmita said without showing any signs of exhaustion on her face.
Talking about visiting Jammu and Kashmir regularly,Sushmita said that i have been regularly visiting Srinagar for my shooting assignments and urged Mumbai film industry to visit Srinagar for shooting films as situation was fast improving.She said, Kashmir is our motherland and we should not be afraid of visitng our motherland.Kashmir jannat hai,she said before leaving towards her fans waiting to take her autograph.
