| Temperature records upward trend | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 3 People in most parts of Kashmir valley today woke up to a pleasant morning with minimum temperature settling around 3.8 degrees Celsius here. Pahalgam was the coldest place in the valley with a low of minus 1.5 degrees Celsius, Met office said. Barring Pahalgam, the mercury showed upward trend in most areas with Kokernag recording 3.2 degrees Celsius while Kupwara and Qazigund settling at 1.9 and 1.0 degrees Celsius respectively. In Jammu region, the mercury surged ahead with a low of 16.8 degrees Celsius followed by Katra (13.4), Batote (7.4), Bhaderwah (4.0) and Banihal (3.8). |
