| NC harping on non-issues; misguiding people: PDP | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 3 The PDP, at its meeting held at the party headquarters under the chairmanship of Rangil Singh, while reviewing the overall political scenario obtaining in the State, has strongly condemned the non-political utterances of the National Conference leaders. Such utterances, the meeting observed, showed the utter frustration in the rank and file of the party. Devoid of any agenda, the PDP leaders said, ‘the NC was harping on non-issues and misguiding the people, who are well aware as to who was behind the militancy in the state’. The recent signals from new democratic leadership in Pakistan is a vindication of PDP’ s agenda the meeting felt and hoped that the peaceful co-existence respecting the sovereignty of each others, opening up the trade and travel, would ultimately lead to better understanding between the two countries. The mindset of the people are undergoing a revolutionary change and the PDP leadership deserves appreciation from all the quarters for taking a bold step for opening up the hearts of the people on both the sides by relaxing and restoration of trade and travel., the meeting maintained. Daman Bhasin also addressed the meeting, which was among others, attended by Asgar Ali, H R Chargotra, Mushtaq Ahmed, Rafeeq Chowdhary, Ashan Mirza, Rajesh Bhat and Rajinder Manhas. |
