| Doda migrants continue protest, demand relief as per KPs | | | Early Times Reporter

Sitting on Dharna for the last over two months, Doda Migrants on Tuesday took out a protest rally to press their demand for release of relief in the form of cash and ration on the pattern of other migrants of the state.
Decrying government for step motherly attitude, Doda migrants shouted slogans against the government for not paying any heed to their demand.
The Protest rally started from Divisional Commissioner's Office Mubarak Mandi and after passing through Chowk Chubutra, Jain Bazar , Raj Tilak Road and Assembled at Ciyy Chowk.
Addressing the gathering the Chairman Zilla Doda Migrants Committee Chairman Suraj Parkash Rana reiterated that the migrants would continue their agitation till the government concedes to their demands. He urged for speeding up the verification of left over families and flat accommodation for 87 others already registered with the Relief Commissioner Offices. He also demanded cash assistance for 32 families who getting only ration in the form of relief. |
