| BJP wants FIR in Airport shooting incident | | | Early Times Reporter

Expressing grave concern over yesterday’s episode at Jammu Airport, BJP State General Secretaries Shamsher Singh Manhas and Bali Bhagat have demanded immediate registration of FIR against Minister of State (MoS) for Science and Technology, Javed Mustafa Mir. They said that this leader of PDP is in habit of carrying loaded weapon with him in high security areas and this incident was not first such case. His such an attitude poses threat to the lives of common people.
The BJP leaders said no action was initiated against Javed Mustafa Mir when last year he was blamed of carrying weapon even inside the assembly. This encouraged him and as a result he never bothered of security related rules. No legal action taken against this PDP leader by the coalition government has exposed the real face of Congress and PDP whose approach towards militants and anti-national elements have been soft.
Manhas and Bhagat said that every one should be treated equally and any one violating rules and or indulging in such activities should be punished accordingly. |
