| Favoritism dictates allotment of flats: KP organizations | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 4 Roots in Kashmir, Vitista Samaj Seva and National Peace Movement have alleged Government of favoritism in allotment of new flat accommodations at Purkhu and Muthi Migrant camps. The allegations were made by the organizations at a joint press conference here on Tuesday. The heads of the organizations including Convener RIK Veer Ji Saraf, President Vitista Samaj Seva , Chaman Lal Kuthari, Chairman National Peace Movement, M K Koul made a scathing attack on the authorities at the helm of affairs for allotting the new tenements to influential persons, while ignoring the claim of deserving. They alleged that most of the flats were given to kiths and kin of Political workers of different parties.Demanding a probe into the allotments, they said that many tenements have gone to non- camp migrants who were the main claimants. Describing the condition of KP migrants as miserable, the leaders demanded an employment package for the youth of the community.
