| One held for kidnaping, raping girl | | | Early Times Report
REASI, Aug 18: A girl was allegedly kidnapped and gang raped by two persons at Reasi while police arrested one and manhunt to nab the absconding youth is on.
Police sources said that yesterday mother of a girl (name withheld), reported at police station Reasi that her daughter had gone to her sister's home at Pharya falling in the jurisdiction of police post Dera Baba on 12th of August, but on the way some alleged person namely Anil Sharma alias Rinku of Kanjali and Narinder Kumar alias Kalu of Shapanu, Reasi have kidnapped her daughter and took her away to an unknown place where they raped with her one by one during the intervening night of 12/13 of August.
Acting on the complaint, a case under FIR no. 149/2018 under sections 363/376-d/342/34 of RPC was registered at police station Reasi and investigation set into motion.
Police sources said that during the investigation of case the police team led by Inspector Ashwani Sharma-SHO Reasi today succeeded in arresting one accused namely Anil Sharma alias Rinku from Bhaga area.
However, another accused person is still absconding and manhunt to nab him is on. |
