CII organizes Industrial Visit

Jammu, Aug 18: Confederation of Industry in collaboration with United Phosphorus Limited organized an Industrial visit for students of MIET college pursuing professional degree.
CII is playing fundamental role in providing students practical perspective on the world of work. Educational institutes in India to a great extent are adopting industrial visits as a value-added learning method for students.
Practical, hands-on learning is essential for better understanding of work processes and business functions. Industrial Visits are helping the students in identifying their area of interest; CII is bridging the gap between theoretical training and practical learning in a real-life environment to the students.
Sanjay Mishra, HR Head and Team of United Phosphorus Limited familiarized the students with the working environment of the plant. United Phosphorus Limited (UPL) is a seeds, chemicals and global generic crop protection company. It currently deals in value added Agri inputs from post-harvest activity to seeds and crop protection.
Being the largest agrochemicals manufacturer in India, the Students acquired the holistic knowledge regarding the working pattern of Agro - Chemical Industry and learned about day-to-day workings. The visit also updated the students regarding the current management practices followed by the organizations and acquire traits that the industry demands from them.
Pradyumna Kumar Aggarwal, Plant Head explained the UPL's Vision to the students through presentation as well as the working chain of the organization. Also, major strengths of United Phosphorus and environment friendly formulations were discussed with a consistent commitment to support agricultural sector from the initial to the final stage.
Appreciating the efforts of CII, Prof. BC Sharma facilitated the students of MIET College to broaden their viewpoint and gather knowledge about working process of the company. It helped improve relational abilities and correspondence methods.
