| NHM employees without salary for 4 months | | | Early Times Report
MANDI/POONCH, Aug 18: From last four months National Health Mission employees (NHM) are without salary.
Expressing resentment, All J&K NHM employees Association has appealed to the Governor,Chief Secretary and Commissioner Secretary Health for instant release of the pending salary of NHM Employees,
From past four months, we have not received our salary, but this time EID is just round the corner and no salary is being released in our favour.
As we have no other source of income, our families particularly school going children have been suffering badly Ganai said.
Raza Ganai said the NHM employees are the backbone of health services. It's because of our efforts that the government is able to accomolish its agenda of development but our services have never been acknowledged by the higher authoroties.
We are not able to deposit monthly bank installments of our loans which we have borrowed from banks and we have to pay compound interest for our loans. Because of this our guarantors our also suffering. We are not able to support our families due to non -availability of money despite working day in and day in far flung areas of the state. Ganai said government was misusing and diverting the funds for salaries and grants to unknown projects.
Ganai urged upon the Governor , Chief secretary and commissioner secretary Health to personally look into matter and immediate release all the pending salaries of NHM Employees before Eid ul -Adha |
