| 26 bovines rescued in Rajouri | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Aug 18: Rajouri police have rescued twenty six bovines foiling two bovine smuggling bids.
A police party headed by SDPO Thanamandi Iftikar A Chowdhary along with SHO Thanamandi Nazir Ahmad Dar was on routine patrolling and Naka checking on Thanamandi road when a mini-truck bearing registration number JK09-4372 driven by Mohd Shabir son of Mohd Latif was intercepted and 14 bovine animals were found loaded. Similarly, another mini-truck
bearing registration number JK14C-1628 driven by driver namely Mohd Shabir son of Mohd Latif was also intercepted at naka point and during the search of the vehicle, 10 bovine bovine animals were found loaded. All the bovines were rescued by police team and driver smugglers arrested. Another police team from Nowshera police station arrested a person namely Khurshid Ahmed son of Mohammad Ismail resident of Rani Badetar and rescued 02 bovine animals from his possession. |
