Roots in Kashmir unhappy with flats allotted

“Allotting 750 residential quarters to the displaced people who are living in camps by the govt is mere eye wash”.
This was stated by Roots in Kashmir (J&K) convenor Vir Saraf at a press conference here today. He said that now after 19 years of exile, govt has constructed 750 quarters for them which will heartily accommodate 1950 of the camp population (15%) of the total displaced population. He demanded that govt shall issue a policy statement abut the permanent repatriation of the construct more quarters near the existing camps at Muthi, Purkhoo, Mishriwala and Nagrota to accommodate the whole camp population. He also said non-camp population should also be given benefits as it’s comprises about 85% of the total displaced population. He also sought monetary benefits for those having bifurcation of ration cards.
