Inspector General of Police K. Rajendra Kumar (IPS) in a meeting held here at PCR Jammu directed all officers of Jammu district to remain alert and vigilant to thwart any nefarious designs of anti social and anti national elements. He emphasized upon surprise checking and establishing special nakas for checking of vehicle. He directed the officers to supervise night patrolling and strengthen nakas. The IGP also directed the officers to promptly respond to public complaints so that the people’s confidence in police is enhanced. Later on, he inspected the various sections of PCR Jammu and issued on spot instructions. SSP PCR Jammu Shakeel Beig introduced the staff with the IGP. SSP Jammu Parmider Singh and SO to IGP Manmohan Singh among other officers accompanied the IGP. |
