Clerical Cadre observes complete one day mass casual leave

Jammu, Aug 20: Clerical Cadre across the State today observed complete One Day Mass Casual and hold protests on the call given by the Co-ordination Committee of Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association in protest against the SRO 333 and for the amendment of same which is not as per the demands projected by the Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association.
The Co-ordination Committee Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association, appealed the government to re-consider the SRO 333 and implement the principally agreed demands of clerical cadre( of 5th Pay Commission) by granting the pay scale of Rs. 4000-6000 to Junior Assistant, Rs.4500-7000 to Senior Assistant, and Rs 5500-9000 to Head Assistant Notionally w. e. f. 01-01-1996 and monetary w. e. f. 19-02-2003 as has been already granted in favour of other cadres and re-consider two increments in favour of the clerical cadre which were granted in favour of the Senior Assistant after passing of SAC Exam who were stagnated and not promoted due nonavailability of posts of Head Assistants.
In Jammu city while addressing the Clerical cadre at Panama Chowk S/Shri Babu Hussain Malik, Ravi Singh Bhau, Sukhbir Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Arun Sharma, Ashish Sharma, Yash Pal Sharma, Munish Sharma, Sewa Ram, Bharat Bushan Kotwal, Brijesh Mehta, Onkar Verma, Yash Pal Sharma, Parkash Singh, Harvinder Singh, Tilak Raj, Madam Meenakashi, Anil Singh Salathia, Kirpal Singh, Romesh Singh Bhau, Rajinder Singh, Jaideep Singh/Vikas Sharma, Naresh Kumar,Ranbir Singh, Avtar Krishan, Anil Kesar, Vikas Gupta, Ranbir Singh Bhau, Sham Lai, Darshan Lai and Anchal Singh, Subash Chander and others appealed the clerical cadre to be prepared for next course of action if the State Government failed to amend the SRO-333 which shall be decided in State Level meeting.
