Jammu, Aug 20: Students of DPS Jammu brought laurels to the school by winning Medals, glittering trophies and Merit Certificate in 1st Raizada Perhlad Bali Memorial Chess & Carom Board Open Championship organized by Sports and Culture Welfare Association from 13-15 August, 2018 at Kotli Bhawan, Jammu. The aim of the Championship was to engage the youths with sports and spread awareness of sports in the society. The details of the winners were Mohd. Tabish Qureshi (V-D) Gold Medal in Carom Board, Manvi Pandoh (VII-D) Bronze Medals in Carom Board, Manaswin (V-E) Silver Medal in Chess, Navnoor Singh (IV-E) Bronze Medal in Chess. Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the winners for the achievement. She also applauded their coach, Suresh Kumar. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also appreciated the winners. President, RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi extended their best wishes to the winners and their parents. |
