| | Wafa appeals to donate for Kerala flood victims | |  Early Time Report
JAMMU Aug 21: Expressing deep concern over the flood situation in Kerala, senior PDP youth leader and Chairman Wafa Foundation Parvez Wafa Khan make a fervent appeal to people in general and social organizations of the state in particular for help by contribution to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund of Kerala State.
Wafa said that Kerala has been hit by one of the worst floods which have affecting hundreds of villages thereby causing extensive damage.
He said that there is an urgent need to help our fellow citizens of this worst affected state at this hour of distress and agony and we should without thinking of any caste, creed and religion come forward and help these families. He urged the volunteers to collect relief items either direct or through Wafa Foundation Jammu in order to send it to deserving people of Kerala or directly sent through cash also to donate to Kerala State Chief Minister's fund.
Wafa also organized a special prayer at Jamia Masjid Kunjwani Peer baba Jammu for the wellbeing of Kerala people. |
