| Series of competitions held at GCW Parade | | | Early Times Reporter

Science Club of Govt. Women College for women Parade has organized series of competitions in different events.
In the Potted plant competition about 40 students participated and also donated all those plants to the Botanical garden of the college.
An essay competition was also organized on the topic “Conservation of Natural Resources” in which about 25 students participated. About 23 students on this occasion delivered lectures on any Current Science Topic.
Convener Science Club, Dr. Ravinder K Chadha speaking on the occasion staed that these kind of activities not only inculcate skills among the students but also enhance their communication skills. This will boost their confidence which will help them to compete in any competition. He also said that students excelled in these competitions would be awarded in separate function.
Principal of the college, Prof. Usha Jayee in her address aprrecxiated the activities of the club. She also congratulated the members of the Science club for having organizing such activities in the college. She expressed the confidence and hoped that the students of this institution with these scientific skills would definitely contribute to the progress of the country and raise the name of the institution. |
