| Court grants interim bail to AEE | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 5 Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu Mr. Kartar Singh granted interim bail to Javed Iqbal Shah Assistant Executive Engineer who was allegedly involved in disproportionate assets case. While allowing the interim bail application Mr. Kartar Singh Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu after hearing Advocates Sudershan Sharma and Ashwani Khajuria and gone through the VOJ report filed by the CPO, directed in the vent of arrest of the petitioner he shall be admitted to interim bail on his furnishing bail bond and personal bond in the amount of Rs 20,000 each till final disposal of the petition with the further direction that petitioner shall attend the investigation as and when required. According to the VOJ report submitted in the court that an enquiry conducted into the allegations of acquiring assets disproportionate to the legitimate source of income by Javed Iqbal Shah AEE PHE Sub-Division Gool by abusing his official position and indulging illegal and corrupt practices had raised the assets in his and in the name of his close relatives during his service carrier, which were quite disproportionate to all the known legitimate sources of income of the accused, a well furnished single story house constructed on a plot of land 1 kanal 6 marlas and Masjid Mohalla Kishtwar, huge double story house still under construction on a plot of land measuring 2 kanals at Karyani Talab, Narwal Bala Jammu, improvement expensive furnishing of ancestral 3 story residential house at village Thakari Tehsil Kishtwar and on the ground of enquiry the VOJ prayed for rejection of the bail application.
