Shiv Khori Shrine Boarad is organizing 10th Vishal Dangal in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association at Middle School, Ransoo, Shiv Khori on March 5.
This was stated by Divsinla commissioner Jammu, Sudhanshu Pandey also the chairman of Shiv Khori Shrine Board.
In all, 70 wrestlers from within and out side the state are taking part in the dangal. The local participants are from Jammu,Kathua, Udhampur, Budhal, Ramnagar, Roun-Domial, Reasi, Pouni, Sunderbani, Ransoo, Latter, Rajouri, Nowshera, Kalakote and Akhnoor, while from outside the state, the wrestlers from Punjab and Haryana are likely to compete in the dangal, disclosed , Prseident J&K Indian Style Wrestling Assosciation , Shiv Kumar Sharma.
The organisers have also decided to honour the best wrestlers of the dangal with ‘Shiv Khori Kesari-2008’ title. He will be awarded a ‘Gurj and Patta’ in addition to handsome cash priz.
An amount of Rs 35 000 has been sanctioned for the said dangal, while an expenditure of around Rs 50 000 is expected to incur on the event.
Bau Ram Pathania coach has been appointed as chairman technical committee. While, Ras Manhas, Pawan Kohli , Ashok Kohli, Moahn La Sharma, Maresh Kesar have been appointed as technical officials for the smooth conduct of the dangal. |
