| Jugal inaugurates school building at Garn | | | Early Times Reporter

Minister for R&B Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma inaugurated school building at Garn Reasi on Tuesday. The school building has been constructed under Sarve Shiksha Abiyan at an estimated cost of Rs. 6 lakh.
Addressing a public meeting after inauguration, the Minister announced that chammyara Pangil Water Supply Scheme would be commissioned by the end of this month and benefit 2000 people of Bagg, Batora Morkien Pangal chimera villages and Rs. 1.63 crore would be spent on the scheme.
The Minister said that 2 km road from Didi Aghar Jitto to Garn at a cost of Rs. 50 lakh was under construction. He directed the Engineers to complete the road in a stipulated time so that benefit to the people of Morkhia, Garn, Palale and Razal villages was ensured well in time.
The Minister while lauding the vision of Chief Minister Mr. G. N. Azad for taking historical decisions like implementation of Wazir Commission recommendations, creation of new districts, setting up of independent finance commission for equitable development, establishing large number of colleges schools and enacting Roshni Act, Mr. Sharma said these decisions were self speaking and need not any elaboration, adding that Azad led regime would be remembered as an era of infrastructural developmental.
He said government also focused its attention for boosting the tourism in the state. For this purpose 22 tourism development authorities had been established. Over Rs. 400 crore under PMRP have been earmarked for these Authorities.
Students of the school presented a cultural programme on the occasion.
Mr. Krishan singh Papoo, Congress leader, Mr. Pritam Singh, Asha Devi Naib Sarpanch and others also spoke on the occasion. |
