Colourful Annual Day function at Sprawling Buds

Sprawling Buds, a Kinder Garten school celebrated its Annual Day with great pomp and show at the school premises situated at Laxmipuram Chinore in Bantalab, near here today.
Minister for Roads and Buildings, Jugal Kishore Sharma was chief guest, who along with guests of honour, N P Sharma, former Counsel General of India in United Kingdom and Prof Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha distributed prizes among the achievers in Academics, Sports and Cultural activities held during the year.
Full of enthusiasm the tiny tots of Sprawling Buds presented colourful cultural programme which enthralled the gathering of distinguished audience of parents and students.
To begin with the little toddlers from Pre-Nursery and Nursery wing presented an eye catching fancy dress item. Young students also took part in Yoga Aasans and exhibited their martial art skills. It was followed by the presentation of various songs and dance items by the students.
Earlier, Director of the school, Arti Sharma welcomed the chief guest and other special invitees as also the parents of the students at the day-long function. It was followed by the presentation of annual report by the Principal of the school, Pooja Sharma. She owes the credit of achievements of the school in all round activities in a short span of time to the dedicated staff.
Speaking to the gathering, the chief guest, Jugal Sharma congratulated the management of the school and faculty members in molding the kids into all-round characters at this young age. He was pleased to see that the educational institutions like Sprawling Buds in private sector are providing the quality education to those residing out of the city limits by making big investments in infrastructure.
“The efforts by these educational institutions in private sector is a contribution in nation building and present coalition government in the state is making sincere efforts to encourage education in this sector,” said the Minister.
To further encourage the young children in their endeavor to excel, the Minister presented Rs 5100 for promotion of art and culture among the students.
Guests of honour of the function, N P Sharma and Prof Lalit Magotra also encouraged the students while hailing the efforts of the management of Sprawling Buds in making the function a live presentation of students’ hidden talent. Prominent among those present were Dr Ajay Charangu, convener Panun Kashmir, Sohan Singh Jamwal, president Tawi Trekkers, Ram Khajuria, general secretary, Tawi Trekkers and Neeraj Anand, secretary Associated Chamber of Traders Federation.
The Loyalty House adjudged best house of the year and awarded the overall trophy by the chief guest. Aryan Bhat was declared Mr Sprawling Buds while Mahak Koul got the title of Miss Sprawling Buds.
