| People protest against MLA | | | Early Times Reporter

A large number of people belonging to ward no.3 held a protest demonstration against the local MLA, Babu Singh here today. The protest was led by the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) district president, Sain Dass who said that the despite MLA being elected from the area, he has failed to provide respite to the local people from their problems. The people was protesting against the presence of nallah in the ward due to which the water of nallah flows through the houses of people as well as their lands due to which the cultivated land gets destroyed. On the occasion, the people also blocked the national highway for two hours. However, after the assurances given by the higher authorities the blockage was cleared. |
