| Qarra says coalition govt created history in development | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 6 Minister for Finance and Planning Tariq Hameed Karra has said that coalition government has taken path breaking decisions during the last five years and created history in the field of all round development. He said, "we have not led astray people for personal ends to grab power but taken positive and realistic steps in carrying forward peace and dialogue process and implementing schemes of large scale development across the state". Karra was addressing one day party workers convention of Batamaloo and Khanyar constituencies here today. He said people have felt the difference between earlier regimes and the present one of which PDP is an important part. He said during the Chief Ministership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed historic decision of opening up of Srinagar-Muzaffarabad road was taken besides initiating dialogue with the separatist groups to achieve lasting peace in the state. He said it was Sayeed who advocated and nurtured the concept of resolving issues pertaining to Jammu and Kashmir through dialogue and bringing thaw in Indo-Pak relations. Karra said PDP would continue to pursue its people-friendly policy and focused on pragmatic and realistic approach for resolving all issues amicably and purposefully. |
