| Lasjan hails farmer friendly measures of centre, state govt's | | | Early Times Reporter

Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Mir Lasjan has hailed the Union Budget for providing one hundred per cent relief to the farmers of the country. Terming the budget as historic and giving a new direction to the process of development and adding momentum to the overall progress of farmers' community, he said that farmers would not have been treated so kindly but for the vision of UPA leadership.
Lasjan said that the measures taken by Chief Minster Ghulam Nabi Azad to extend the benefits to the farmers of J&K is highly appreciative.
"People are thankful to the Chief Minster for having taken up the matter with Prime Minister of India and Chairperson Sonia Gandhi for extending the welfare measure to the farmers of J&K" he added.
Lasjan further said that President, Pradesh Congress Committee, Saif-ud-din Soz, who is also the Union Minster was making every effort to help in acceleration of development process in J&K. President, Soz has rightly impressed upon the Congress cadre to strengthen the hands of honorable Chief Minister in putting the state in the right direction for its overall development.
He said that the state government is doing miraculous progress under the dynamic leadership of Ghulam Nabi Azad. His resolve to create a clean, neat and corruption-free society is becoming a reality day by day. |
