In a bid to find out the reasons behind the defeat of Congress candidate in the recently held Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Mayor election, a meet of the party activists was held here today.
The meeting was chaired by Ex-MLA, Om Chopra. It was unanimous resolved that an appeal would be made to higher command to probe into the reasons behind the defeat of the Congress candidate. It was also stressed that the concrete steps would be taken to rejuvenate rank and the elements and the reasons behind such defeat be exposed and stern action be taken. |
