City Judge Jammu Mr. Pawan Dev Kotwal, today, in a case of sexual assault on a school going girl convicted the accused Bishan Dass resident of village Dong.
The City Judge, after hearing Sr Prosecuting, Officer Kulbushan Sharma, and going through the case held that accused in custody, and present in the court, made a confession voluntarily and in view of this confession, the offences committed by the accused are punishable u/s 354 RPC. Since the case stands established against the accused, hence he is convicted and sentenced to three months rigorous imprisonment, the City Judge ordered.
According to the prosecution case on January 24, 2008, the accused caught hold of prosecutrix/ complainant, when she was going to school and dragged her to Nallah and made sexual assaults on her. JNF |
