| Four held, stolen jewelry along recovered | | | Early Times Reporter

Talab Tillo police has claimed to have recovered stolen jewelry along with Rs twenty thousand besides nabbed four culprits. Giving details police sources said that after hectic raids and traps police got success to nab the thieves identified as Amit Sharma alias Pantu S/o Prabu Dayal r/o Sunder Nagar and Bitu Kumar alias Kandi S/o Durga Dass r/o Kabir Nagar, Talab Tillo. The theft was made in the house of Pyare Krishan, few days back. The thieves struck the house when the marriage ceremony of his daughter was going on. A case was registered in Police Station, Talab Tillo. After registering the case a police team led by SHO Nowabad Kulbeer Handa, Chowki incharge SI Manjeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO Mohan Lal Kaith, SP Sanjeev Kotwal and SSP Parminder Singh was constituted. The team after laid many traps apprehended thieves. During interrogation they revealed that they had sold Jewellery to Jewelers namely Harish Krishan Gupta S/o Krishan Gupta and Rajinder S/o Krishan Gupta r/o Talab Tillo. The police team under the guidance of SSP Parminder Singh immediately swung into action and nabbed the duo besides recovered stolen Jewellery worth around one lakh fifty thousand from them, sources said. |
