Encourage enoble not snub woman whistleblower: SS Bijral
9/4/2018 9:42:20 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 4: Upset at senior BJP woman leader highlighting sexual exploitation in party, S.S.Bijral former IGP, BJP State Convener Beti Bachao Beti Padhao has urged 'pradesh' leadership to not outrightly dismiss but be alerted to storm already sweeping western world, and party interest demands 'encourage ,ennoble, not snub woman whistle blower', empowered by PM Modi's call to 'nation daughters'.
Bijral, the state Spokesperson, said PM dream project BBBP would end up in smoke if women mustering courage to expose wrong doers to create women-friendly political atmosphere for their larger participation alongside men in nation building are snubbed and silenced.
Noting that, Priya Jaral, senior party Mahila Morcha leader thought it fit to in-public raise women sexual exploitation issue when All Party Prayer Meeting for late PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee was concluding at Convention Centre points to her frustration; grievingly complained about her woes to State BJP President with speaker and MLA Bali Bhagat attending naming a few, Bijral stressed party leadership should do justice enough taking this exposure as a leak of safety valve of pressure cooker.
"If we are to teach real peace in this world, and if we are to carry on a real war against war, we shall have to begin with the children,"Bijral said and adding that this Priya Jaral case should be viewed women-overall issue respecting sensitivities keeping women back home in four walls.
Excited over the exposure, though disapproving of its mode, Bijral said women globally are shedding their veil of silence to aggressively compete with men in nation building, for nation belongs to them as much. Exhorting patriarchal society to value and welcome girl child at par with boy child, he said any discrimination in their development will be disservice to nation.
