| Extension processes should be stopped: JURSEA | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Mar 8 University must stop extension processes for the betterment of the youth generation stated President Jammu University Research Scholars Executive Association (JURSEA) Vikas Sharma while highlighting several demands. Addressing the media persons today, Vikas stated that by stopping extensions the scholars get more job opportunities as more then twenty retired Professors are working on extension bases and had occupied the rooms in several departments of the University. Sharma appealed the Vice Chancellor to stop the process of extensions as early as possible and also get the retired Professors out of the campus, JURSEA also demanded for separate Research Scholar Hostel for girls, hostel issues should be solved in the hostels and not manipulated in the departments, more Water cooler to the hostels, involvements of the girl scholars in the decision making body of the Hostels, hygienic mess and canteen facilities for girl hostels. The JURSEA warned the University authorities if the issues will not taken seriously, they will launch agitation against the university authorities. Those who presented on the occasion included Anuradha Goswami, Sajjad Hussain, Sanjana Gupta, Kamldeep Singh and Rakesh Chib were also present in press conference.
