Court withholds salary of SSP Anantnag, SHO

Jammu, Sept 4: Railway Magistrate Jammu Yahaya Firdous today withheld the salary of SSP Anantnag and SHO concerned for not honouring the court orders.
While withholding the salary, Court observed that summons were issued against the accused Syed Farid Ahmed and directed SSP Anantnag and SHO concerned were directed to ensure that summon is executed against the accused, failing which it was directed that this court would be constrained to pass order against SSP Anantnag and SHO concerned.
Court conveys its displeasure to SSP Anantnag and SHO concerned and accordingly the personal pay of SSP Anantnag and SHO concerned is withheld till further orders. District Treasury Officer Anantnag is directed not to honor the personal pay bill of SSP Anantnag, in case the bill is presented in some other treasury, District Treasury Officer Anantnag shall transmit this order to the concerned treasury. Court also directed SSP Anantnag to withhold the personal pay of SHO concerned till further order.
Railway Magistrate Jammu Yahaya Fridous issued fresh summon to the accused which shall be sent to SSP Anantnag for execution. The non-bailable warrants issued vide order dated 31.08.2018 in case titled Bharat Bushan Vs Syed Farid Ahmed (complaint u/s 138 N.I. Act) shall also be made available to SSP Anantnag for execution. CPO District Court Jammu shall hand over the copy of this order to SSP Jammu for onward transmission as directed above vide proper received and receipt shall be produced before this court, failing which appropriate order shall be passed.
